The Pacific is not a barrier that divides us, but a series of highways and byways that join us.

Earth Partners - Pacific

for our children, children's children and for all species: a thriving, resilient and sustainable Pacific.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our Strategic Plan envisages a New Zealand and Pacific Partnership Initiative over the period 2020-2030.

We seek to realise arcs of cooperation across the Pacific: the Pacific is not a barrier that divides us, but a series of highways and byways that join us.

Our aims are aligned to the aims of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the founding document of Aotearoa New Zealand.

This strategy we have developed is the outcome of recently generated discussions towards a new initiative for the Pacific, realising and bringing to the fore the peace which is at its heart of its name. It is a vision for the immediate future, connecting the ancient links between Hawaii and Aotearoa New Zealand, and links among Maori people, Polynesian, Melanesian and Micronesian peoples.

The big picture challenges of our time are: to renew and implement sustainable coexistence between individuals and communities. Earth Partners plans to do this through education and training, enabling communities to sustainably improve their social and economic conditions, whilst at the same time ensuring that the environment is given equal attention within the circular economy.

We see the need to empower the local custodians of Life to speak out and to be listened to again, after a period in which their voices were silenced and ignored. This eventuates through training younger activists (the buds on the tree); and training young elders - (those with the roots and anchors) to listen, advise and counsel.

We see a need to to support youth in New Zealand and across the Pacific with the skills to succeed and to thrive, ensuring that every young person, regardless of their circumstance or background, has the opportunities and support to achieve their potential.

In the current challenging times, Earth Partners offers its team as a thinking partner in the eyes of the storm! Covid-19 presents us humans with the challenge and the opportunity: to stop, to listen, to feel and to think. Leadership is about staying calm when others panic, staying open when others close up, responding with care when others react with fear. How do we want to shape the Pacific in the 10 years to 2030, the 20 years to 2040, and for the next seven generations? How can we be use the current situation as an opportunity to refocus towards full community resilience? How can we sustain valuable digital links with others beyond our regional borders?

Let Earth Partners help guide, facilitate and assist leaders and their communities rebuild strong spirited foundations, with resilience and durability, forging local independence within an interdependent world.

We'd love to hear from you.

[1]. Covid-19 presents us all with a major challenge now to adapt how we live and operate on Earth, and in our Pacific region. Using the opportunity of digital connection tools, Earth Partners can facilitate intra-community and inter-stakeholder meetings online, using a combination of heart-based leadership tools and community catalysing methods. [2]. Mindful of future projects in Tonga, Tokelau and Niue, we have set up a patreon account to underpin future fundraising. Please consider making a monthly contribution to kick-start our work via our DONATE page.

Supporting Indigenous Tribal Eldership on the Pacific rim.

We are supporting indigenous tribal leaders in their efforts to preserve their ancestral lands and cultures. They wish to create ways that enable the rest of the world learn from their systems and environmental custodianship.

Supporting local Pacific initiatives towards justice

We have tools to help decision-makers, activists and elders co-create sustainable, thriving communities in their islands. We have been requested by local Ni-Van partners in Vanuatu to help support non governmental initiatives in support of social justice.
